Susan Wild is a passionate advocate for environmental protection in Pennsylvania, where she is a respected community leader.
Wild previously served as the first female Solicitor for the City of Allentown and has served on the boards of directors for numerous civic organizations including the Second Harvest Food Bank and the Program for Women & Families. She was was recognized, in 2017, by Governor Tom Wolf, for her contributions to the state of Pennsylvania, and for her leadership. She is an outspoken critic of the Trump Administration’s attacks on climate change and rollbacks of environmental protections.
As a representative, Wild will advocate for the United States to rejoin the Paris Climate Agreement and fight to protects our public lands and national monuments. She will work to promote renewable energy technology and vote to oppose fracking on public lands.
Wild joins the U.S. House to represent the newly-drawn 7th district.

“Protection of the environment has always been a passion for me. I believe that economic growth can be completely compatible with clean water and air. We have a unique opportunity to bring sustainable, good-paying jobs to the Lehigh Valley. What our community needs right now is a bipartisan advocate in Washington who can see beyond the rhetoric of our current administration to the economic and quality of life benefits that accompany good environmental practices.”
